AUTOMOTIVE TECHNICIAN

We are currently seeking a full-time licensed automotive technician to join our busy service department.
The Automotive Service Technician performs all vehicle Warranty and non-Warranty inspection, diagnostic, maintenance and repair work efficiently and competently to Dealership standards. The technician is also responsible for installing accessories and performing vehicle pre-delivery inspections and preparation work. The Technician is required to maintain current product knowledge and service needs as prescribed in technical bulletins, manuals, and training programs.

Responsibilities:

• Perform vehicle maintenance and repairs as assigned
• Diagnose the source of any malfunctions and perform the repair
• Qualify all vehicles for warranty coverage prior to performing warranty repairs
• Examine vehicles to determine if additional safety or service work is required
• Perform road tests using safe driving standards
Qualifications:
• Strong product knowledge
• Strong aptitude of technical/mechanical repairs
• Good time management skills
• Organizational ability and attention to detail
• Ideally, two (2) years minimum in a technician position
• General Dealership experience preferred
